Yes. We provide free estimates and surveys before starting work. This ensures clarity on costs and scope, and helps avoid surprises. Final costs, including materials, are subject to our Terms and Conditions.

How much do you charge?

Charges depend on the complexity, time required, and accessibility of the work. We usually provide a clear fixed cost for each job, and can group smaller tasks together to offer a cost‑effective price.

What is the difference between an estimate and a quote?

An estimate is our best assessment of the likely cost of a job, based on the information available at the time. A quote is a fixed price commitment. We generally favour estimates because they allow flexibility if the scope changes or unforeseen issues arise, while still giving you a clear idea of expected costs. Final charges are confirmed once the work is agreed, in line with our Terms and Conditions.

What payment methods do you accept?

Do you require a deposit?

Yes. A deposit is required for any material purchases so that we can order and prepare everything needed for your job. The amount and timing of deposits are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Are you insured and DBS checked?

Yes. We carry public liability insurance and are DBS checked for your peace of mind. Coverage and liability are subject to the limits and exclusions set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Can you handle multiple small jobs in one visit?

Yes. We often group smaller tasks together to save you money and time. This is a cost‑effective way to get several jobs done at once.

How quickly can you respond?

We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but this can be challenging when we have many bookings. When you contact us, we'll provide a realistic timescale for both the survey and when work could commence, subject to your approval of the estimate.
